Much Ado About Nothing

What in sam heck is goin on ’round here?I don’t believe it!Mollie’s gone an i miss ‘er.She was such a sweet girl even if she looked at herself too much or always wanted pretty things.She done just dissapeared an some animals here been sayin that it’s ’cause she was talkin to a human.don’t she know four legs good,two legs bad? even the stupid sheep done know that9even if they done do beet it from mornin to night,it really get’s on my nerves!).Now their’s all this nonsense ’bout buildin a wind somethin or other.I’m not sure what it done do ‘but i think we got ourselves  enough work ,with tryin to survive the cold hard winter.I guess i side with Napoleon for this.THis mornin i done whent to see the piggies  fight over the windythingy.We was just in the middle of listenin to snowball’s speach when 5 mean an nast dogs done did come an chase snowball away.We was all so frightened we didn’t know what to do.Napoleon then took over speackin and that was that.Then he done said we was buildin the windythingy after all.Then squeeler done said the windythingy was all Napoleon’s ider in the first place an this whole thing was just a tactic9i don’t know what that means but itsounds important)to get rid of Snowball.Well i don’t know what to think,but Animal Farm is goin to the dogs(have you seen those five pupies,they be real scary).

We talked with a group of eith grader’s from abu dhabi.The main pupous was to give us a real world example of what a country with propoganda and cencorship is like.For example,the movies that come from over seas can be censored.They also have restricted internet acess.Even their books could be censored.Also,they forbid any other view about Israel than their own.They don’t even allow people to even talk about it.Also as they live in the United Arab Emerites they must be veary careful not to mock or dishonor or abase Islam.I learned alot about living in a nother country.I learned that it was really safe and they are always able to go to the beach.I thought it was extremely interesting and i would like to learn more.

Hi!i’m muriel and i live on what i guess you all would call Animal farm.I like living here there’s so much food and i ain’t never hungry no more.Snowball he our leader he real smart.He be always in his headquarters readin them books.I guess i kinda smart too ’cause i can read too.Sometimes,when it’s all dark i read from the neewspapers to the other animals here on the farm.All that’s happened is so amazin,before the revolution happened i could never imagine a world without farmer jones.He was a meenie an i don’t think anybody misses him one bit,cept mayby mollie ’cause he would feed her sugar and put pretty ribbons in her hair.Now,she can’t wear no ribbons ’cause snowball done said that no animal should wear cloths.I like snowball ok exept for one time when he done took all the apples and he an his brothers done did et ‘em all.I sad, i like them apples all nice an juicy an red,i done did watched an waited for them to ripen and i was really lookin freward to an apple or two.but,i guess ifit really was needed to keep snowball an his brothers up an runin then i guess it’s ok.I know i don’t want jones back.We sure done did had an exitin day ’bout a week ago,jones an his men tryed to re-take animal farm!we won tho.bye y’all i’ll see you on animal farm

The book we are currently reading in class is Animal farm.In the first 2 chapters the animals,led by snowball attempt to revolte and sieze the farm from the drunnk farmer jones.THey succede and now they must set up a gouvernment and find a way to survive.As usual,snowball knows what to do.He first stes up comandments and they are unalterable rules,that can never be broken.THey include rules so animals never become humanized,they also state that all animals are equal and comrades.The farm,named animal farm is run according to those principals.All the animals work according to their capability,the horses pull the plough,the pigs supervise and keep things runnning smoothly,and the ducks pick up tiny pieces of grain so none is wasted.They also have a meeting on sundays and in it they debate and plan the work for the rest of the week.The animals understand how to vote,but none can come up with a proposition of their own, so the coming up with suggestions is left mostly to snowball and his rother napoleon.THey never seem to agree,and the animals side with one or the other and majority rules.THe pigs end up with a bit more power over the functioning of the farm then the others.They furthermore,when the apples become ripe,and the wind blows them down,the pigs decreed that they should be brought to the pigs only,the reason they give for this is that they are eating the apples for the farms own good,to keep up their strength so they can keep farmer jones from coming back.These instances it seems as if the pigs are taking advantage of the animals complete trust i them and the other anomals lesser brain capacity and intelligence.I believe that once they see that they can get away with it they will continue to do it and do it worse.
