Much Ado About Nothing

Here we are almost finished with out big two week myp project.my teacher decided to call it exploding walls.I think this name really makes sense because the whole point is to learn about something, post what we learned and our thoughts and feelings about it and see if we can reach an audience.We might even happen upon a subject we really are interested in and make a difference.If a lot of people,albeit young ones make a lot of noise about something,people are eventually going to listen.We are exploding the wall of ignorance (our own and other’s) by really learning about something,then sharing it in a public forum.We are also exploding the wall of seperation by reachijng out to people all across the globe,sharing what we have to say and inviting others to pipe in as well.Whatever the case,like an explosion,we are definatly having an impact.I really think it’s worthwile to post work online,because it motivates students to do their best,to really participate and it gives the project a sense of connection to the otside world and that we can really create something that can make a difference.We decided to make a web page about it because we have so many different categorys that a simple doccument wouldn’t suffice and we also wanted people to come look at what we’ve created for a long time to come,to preserve our work for posterity.We fromated it where basically everyone has his or her own page do with it what they will.My role was to find articles in newspapers and magazines about it and post ewhat they where saying and what i thought about it.
